Josh...those a amazing. I know you said you make your own handle material. What type of wood did you use for those if you don't mind me asking.

Thanks man! Actually I should clarify, I do not actually stabilize/dye my own material but I do rip my own scales from larger blocks. I like doing it better this way. These have buckeye, boxelder, and maple.

Finished these ones up this week. Very pleased with this wharnie design. :)

Oversized caping knife just delivered. Almost too sharp I think but the old boy loved it. 1095 convex ground with Geenberg's Kingwood handle

Doing tomahawks and starting a batch of compound grinds and machetes. Someday soon I'd love to take a break from the 9-5 and tactical orders to finish something more artistic..

Im loving that xhp knife ive got from you...it doesnt rust but just takes a very light patina. Thats the best of both worlds in my book. Holds the edge too!

Working on my first hidden tang bowie. The blade is 1/4 w2 with 416 stainless guard and some micarta spacers.
The handle is desert ironwood and needs a lot more work. This build has been a learning process to say the least.

Got 2 finished up this week. The first one is a polished bird and trout in cpm154. It's 61 Rc with curly maple handles. The second is a 440c skinner I'm trying out. It's a graduation present for a little cousin of mine whose school colors are white and blue. I'm going to try a CA finish on the micarta because I can't keep it clean to save my life.

My family and I are visiting Yellowstone and I thought it would be an appropriate time to make a knife for my son for the trip.

Steel is w2 with a very subtle hamon (still learning), handle is wenge (I think) given to me by Ben at Greenberg woods.
Tapered tang, carbon fiber pins.

That's a nice knife! I have alot of Wenge blocks laying around, is yours stabilized or not? Looks really good!

Thank you! I'm not sure about the stabilization. I bought a piece of Cocobolo from Greenberg Woods and he threw this one in.

Nice work guys!

I've been really busy with framelocks, here's one I completed today.

TJT {Traditional Japanese Tanto} in CTS-XHP steel.
