I use a more aggressive media for my stonewashed finish. I use the medium ceramic media and dawn dish soap and water. Looks good though!
Ya that's kinda what I expected. I figured it was worth experimenting. Be nice not to have to swap media from reloading to knives.

was the first time I have tried using african ebony, and can appreciate now it is difficult to work with! I'll be using up a few other timbers before going back to this :D I like the look though

Finally built a knife for my own personal use. Should be a kokanee filleting machine.

Wow Daniel! That is a serious blade. Looks very nice!
Finished this one up today. Very pleased with the blend of materials. :)

Josh, I really like the fact that you have an original style to your knives and this knife has an unusual grind that is refreshingly unique. Your hollows are clean which I like very much. Are you using a 3 inch wheel for that ....I am guessing? Well done. Larry

Thanks JIM and LARRY! Appreciate it guys.
Larry,
The main bevel is actually done with a ten inch wheel and the swedge is flat ground. I am planning to give hollow swedges as I LOVE the look but haven't become comfortable with it yet. Hopefully in the the future. :D

Knocked these out as well this week.

Here are a couple of my recent pieces.

Stunning work with the herring bone and damascus combo Mr. Stark. Are those smaller blades chisel ground?

Thanks so much! They aren't chisel ground. The tanto has a hollow ground main bevel and a flat ground tip. The cleaver is flat ground on both sides.

I've got two new designs i'm working with that just came back from water jet as well. One is my new necker design and the other is a knife version of my BeerRambit multi-tool. The slot in the middle is for a 2" screwdriver bit lol. We'll see how it turns out, was more of a late night idea that I wanted to bring to life lol.
