Stan, That is a beautiful folder. The liners/bolsters are perfect. You should carry that one. Larry

This is what happened at my shop last night. Never seen this much rain before!
Thankfully most of the stuff was off the ground like the grinder, oven, drill and stuff like that.

Take any HTed blades you have outta there and dry them thoroughly, Even by licking them with a low pressure flame on a torch. They can be ruined by rust otherwise. The non HTed steel isn't as critical, but still you want to get it dry too.

Also remember that woods can soak up the moisture and may warp as well.

Mother Nature don't play.
Good luck. Fans and moving air help dry too after the water leaves. I live in S Louisiana

Thanks for all the replies guys! All the knives we were working on were stored somewhere else and the equipment is all safe too. Now we have to clean it all up.

I have been busy with things other than knives lately but I did get this finished

Paring knife with some Master Grade Koa and Stainless AEB-L

Wow Daniel! I've been watching your work for a while now, and you have really stepped it up a notch!

way to go!!!

This is the first knife off my new grinder and the variable speed makes a huge difference! It's an 8" butchering knife in AEB-L at 61rc. Handle is g10 and it is wicked sharp! I really like this AEB-L stuff! Pay no attention to my foot!

Very nice work Matt! I'm hoping to be in the new grinder club soon. Here's my first attempt at a blade finish. Ferric chloride for an hour and wet tumbled in stainless media for an hour. Turned out pretty well but I was hoping the tumble would be a little more dramatic.

I use a more aggressive media for my stonewashed finish. I use the medium ceramic media and dawn dish soap and water. Looks good though!
