Good looking work folks! Of all the knives I've made these little guys are still some of my favorites! They're quick and easy and make great skinning knives. This is .125" cpm154 at 61 with bocote scales and corby bolts.

Very nice. Simple clean and functional. I'm looking at making a couple skinners at the moment to use some steel I have left over too small for much else.

Wow Daniel! That is a serious blade. Looks very nice!
Finished this one up today. Very pleased with the blend of materials. :)

Thanks JIM and LARRY! Appreciate it guys.
Larry,
The main bevel is actually done with a ten inch wheel and the swedge is flat ground. I am planning to give hollow swedges as I LOVE the look but haven't become comfortable with it yet. Hopefully in the the future. :D

Knocked these out as well this week.

Josh those are simply beautiful. I love the way you do your handles and that hollow grind is something else.

finished up this batch of my utility hunter design with some variations and a slim hunter based on a Howard Hitchmough design (used by permission)
all laminated Hitachi steel, brass, nickel silver and a 416 ss guard.
The middle one has Bocote handles and is a Randall inspired variation

these have a few mistakes and am looking forward to making another batch to keep improving

Very nice Harbeer

Very cool shane the bottom one is badass

Edit I love the little "noi"? Is that the term for the floating bit of hamon ? In the top pic it almost seems like the white half of a yin and yang

Thanks man. The bottom one is one of my favorite models.

Im not sure if that part of the hamon is called noi. Anyone else know?

Hamons are fun. You never quite know what you're gonna get.

I'm working on my first knife, It's a small EESE Izula like knife to take backpacking with me. I ended up filing the primary bevel a little too thin so hopefully it won't warp when I heat treat it.

So far it's been a lot of fun, and I've learned quite a bit in the process.

I have been sawing like crazy again. Just finished milling up some bias cut palm, bocote and figured cocobolo. Also got a chance to list some buckeye and redwood on my site!

Thought I'd pop my head in since it has been a while. We have been diverted so far from sharp stuff I don't even know how to describe it. I have this whole compulsion where I say 'Sure, we can do that!' before my brain actually realizes I'm talking out of my @$$.

But, we have been blessed with doing some pretty steady stuff with the knucks.

And doing an oddball. Paint job and strap system on our team's Bellator shield from Paraclete.

But mostly busy with leather work of all things. Gun Belts, heavy 10oz Hermann Oak hand dyed affairs....

And a great project, a challenge for a unique sheath for a CRKT Ringed Razel for a customer and a request to make a matching ferrocerium rod. Just happened to have matching g10 in the shop. Result is a multi-carry sheath with kydex core, full suede lined, distressed mahogany Hermann Oak veg tan overcoat with neat 'galaxy' screws holding the straps on threaded tube posts anchored in. Natural linen thread.

(Thanks Matt, almost kept the knife.... Lol.)

I do have a couple of things heat treated and getting finished so hopefully back to that soon. Cheers guys. Great looking stuff in here as always. Really like the Iron Man deal Stark.
I love bright colored G10 for some reason. Always looks so catchingly cool. Maybe because my day job is all black and velcro....

Cheers!

I love the Chatoyance of Koa. Guitars made of it have always caught my eye.

Very nice looking handle. Cheers!
