  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Nice to see people keeping busy! I recently bought a 3D printer, and I've mostly been using it to make prototypes of knives I want to make... Cheaper to figure out scaling and ergonomics this way. Faster too!

A few adjustments need to be made, but this is such a nice change of pace.

I've been working on my 4th knife. A santoku-ish design that originally was to have a wa style handle. I don't think that's going to happen though. Fingers will be too close to the cutting surface. I'm also a bit uncertain about the geometry of the edge. Thoughts?

Also my 1x30 Horrid Fright beats the hell out of files!

And since I'm completely out of order here's my third. It's going out for hardening tomorrow. It'll be my son's knife. It's getting slime green and black swirl acrylic scales (because he'll love it even though I think they're hideous) and I'm gonna take a stab at a kydex sheath. I'll post it again when finished.
