Been doing a lot of different things. Built a grinder enclosure with dust removal, I've been stabilizing a lot of wood (since surprisingly, I sold a bunch at Ashokan), and I've been working on my first frame lock. Though the frame lock is taking some time. video of my first ball detent attempt at the bottom.
This is some wood BF member WEO sent me. He is a fan of bartering as am I.
This stuff is all wood I've harvested
The framelock, It's a bit rough, and I already have a bunch of things I'd do differently. Next step is grinding and hardening the blade, then bending the lock. Also, this is the first time using the tapmatic I got at an auction months ago for $60. I have to say, that thing is like magic.
Ball detent action. Amazing how such a slight movement can make me so happy.
