Looks sharp man, how do you manage the epoxy squeeze out in the hidden lanyard hole?

Put a good bit of petroleum jelly in those areas on the scales before glue up and then go light with the epoxy. Start cleaning any squeeze right away. Getting behind the hidden pin can be a little tricky but it’s not too difficult.

Yes, green canvas micarta from Pop's

It was belt finished to 400g then hand sanded through 2000g and finished with an old 3000g 3M pad/cloth. I back up the sand paper with a stick when first sanding the pins then shoe shine with the paper. Buffing will make it shiny, this leaves a satin look

I finally found a spot for a LN fill. They quoted me $10 per liter and then said 12$ when I got there and and then rang me up at half that and charged me for 10 liters instead of 15. I gotta say a lit of places are really generous tward knife makers.

Just finished these two kitchen knives.

The first one is a Santoku k-tip 165mm in 2mm O1 at 62 HRC. Wa handle made of pakka and stabilised mahogany.

The second one is a full tang petty 120mm in 2mm 14C28N at 62 HRC. The handle is Micarta.

Just finished this M1 garand knife today. Parkerized 1084, handle wood from an M1 garand stock, WWII ammo headstamps, brass liners and pins.
