  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I was pondering this one... what to do, what to do, guess I'll make me a sammich… nickel silver with brass bologna. It turned out OK I guess for a first try, but not as clean as some I've seen here. Slight wide spots going around the corners and very thin glue lines visible in the flutes. Still working on it if anyone has any tips? It's all held together with internal pins and epoxy pins throughout (JB Weld). I did this a little differently than usual too, I epoxied the handle (Chechem) to the spacer assembly when both were near finished, then completed the finishing as one unit. That was another experiment since usually of course spacers and guards get installed on the blade first, but it worked out pretty good this way too, getting it flush was a breeze.IMG_1555.JPG
