MKNIFE, that looks awesome. especially the checkered guard tip. i hate carbon fiber, it wrecks a bandsaw blade and a counterbore for the loveless bolts every time ! but i love its density.

Mine has popped up too!As a kitchen knife maker, my work overflows into the kitchen.....found the first morels of the season on the property today....looking forward to a bountiful mushroom season! Although few, they were good sauteed with butter and salt with a ribeye.

I had in the past used a diamond plate but it died so back to sand paper.
Did you ever try to work on bevel with DMT ?
