As a kitchen knife maker, my work overflows into the kitchen.....found the first morels of the season on the property today....looking forward to a bountiful mushroom season! Although few, they were good sauteed with butter and salt with a ribeye.

Kevin, that’s a good looking knife! Didja do it all by hand? No mill?

MKNIFE, that looks awesome. especially the checkered guard tip. i hate carbon fiber, it wrecks a bandsaw blade and a counterbore for the loveless bolts every time ! but i love its density.

John I'm agree with you!
On all composite materials I prefer micarta, although in some applications carbon fiber or even G10 are preferable. In addition, that extremely fine black powder is extremely insidious, difficult to avoid altogether.
