Guys , I work on this false edge/top clip whatever it is ...Did you sharpen that part to shaving sharp ...... if yes is there secondary edge or not ? If not sharp how thick I need to leave that part of spine ?
Thanks !
And I like it how it is getting lighter and lighter as I grind to final

The way I do my sharp swedges is to just grind them to zero, raise a burr and then strop the burr off on my paper sharpening wheel(the stropping wheel, not the grit wheel). So basically just keep grinding the bevels until a burr forms and then remove the burr however you’re used to. My clips/swedges are usually ground at a more obtuse angle(20-25 degrees per side), so there’s no point in doing a secondary bevel IMO.

Guys I have one question for you .I ordered transmission power belt for my 10 inch contact wheel . My wheel is 251 mm .Dia . which mean that have 788,14mm girth /lenght .
Now , belt I ordered is 800mm girth/length BUT they measure that where is red line on the drawing /they call it Pitch line/ . I make some calculation according to the default dimensions on belts ..
For belt PHG800 /which I ordered/ .....800 / 3.14 = 254.7mm Dia. 254,7 -3.44mm = 251.26mm Dia. x 3.14= 788,95mm length
Other belt in game is PHG 792 /number mean length of belt/ ....
792/3.14=252.23mm dia. 252.23- 3.44=248.79mm Dia .x 3.14= 781.2mm length.
First one belt is almost ideal ,but I have no idea how tight will go on wheel because it is almost 1mm longer .Maybe I should need to use some glue or some tape maybe under belt ?
For second one belt , I can turn wheel on lathe till I get tight fit ?

What do you think .... ? I know ..... I know that this is silly question
