I'm working on this Orbis. It doesn't have the standard bowie blade shape, but a drop point which the customer liked better. It's basically the same blade shape as my Bull Shark M. The knife is for one of our Dutch operators who will also be using this knife for breaking car windows. When the window breaks they need to clean out the remaining glass before they can pull the guy out of the car. That's why there is a metal part at the end of the grip. This is used for removing the remaining glass. the tang ends in a glass breaker. For tractions the mid section of the grip is made out of rubber. Next step is Cerakote....

Well, no pictures from me as is the norm, but I did attend a small two day knife show within a very large gun show. I did sell a couple of knives, bought a few supplies, found a few makers that were looking for help on liner locks, and best of all talked to some of my friend makers some from a fair distance away. Yes, it was a great sale for me. I hope I'm around for the next one that I have already bought the same table for it. Frank

Here is one that I recently finished.
3/32" Devin Thomas Raindrop stainless Damascus with a 440C handle and stabilized black palm wood scales and S/S Loveless bolts.. Its a 5" blade image.jpgUtility/petty Kitchen cutter.

Thanks Laurence, I appreciate that.

Here is something I'm doing for fun in Solidworks. The little tiny details make a big difference in my eyes. Somehow, eyeballing it by hand seems to be easier...

Scored a couple air cleaners (Jet AFS-1000B) at an estate sale a couple weeks ago. Not sure what I'm going to do with the second one, but the deal was too good to pass. Even came w/ extra filters. Wife gave me the go ahead to keep the dust down, so I'm on a spending spree :)

Also working on a few new blades, 2 Loveless style, 2 customer requested (ok, friend that will cover material costs) kitchen-ish slicers and a chisel chopper (cause it seemed like a cool idea).

Nick, Thanks for sharing all the info and methods you share. Saw your vise(pictured below) in one of your youtube videos. I immediatly copied it and use it almost daily. Thanks again, Zane
Thanks Sam.

Looking good Greg! :)

Here's what's on my bench right now... a MESS. :D A lot of guys seem to think I never make a mess in the shop. I actually ALWAYS make a mess... I just like for everything to have a place so that it's easy to clean up and know where everything is.

And I wish I could get a truckload of this stabilized, spalted Oak Burl!!! This is the second block I have used from my stash, and the stuff is crazy cool (IMHO). The pic was taken at a hand sanded 1200X grit not quite finished, finish. ;)
