Make a 13" Bowie I thought, it will be awesome I thought.
The bevel area is measured in acres and I'm exhausted after hand sanding and only getting one side to 120 grit.
I plan to get both sides to around 1500 before etch.
You can already see a shadow of where the hamon will be...

It's a ton of work I know, but it's going to be awesome when it's done. I can't wait to see it when it's finished.

I think more than I like a Scotchbrite finish but hate how the belts mess up the transitions. Like this:

So I started finishing my flats with EDM stones, before grinding bevels of course.

The mess then cleans up in half a minute:

What stones are you using? Link please.

Good budget on that last order ;) shame they don't offer it a bit wider in the thin stock for the kitchen knives. Thanks to your pic I also went for a lot of g10 and micarta, never seen that they have so good pricing on it, cheaper then aliexpress it seems (I need it mostly for liners).

Yes they have good micarta prices, and I think it's Ultrex they sell from the looks of it. Only 4.8 mm thickness on my stuff, but still good.
