  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Been tinkering with the idea of trying to make one out of all parallel lines for a while. Started grinding one out today to get a feel for it. The swedge goes too far back and I think I’d like it to be at an angle instead of straight with the spine. It’s not a design I’d ever seek out in a store but it’s been growing on me since I started drawing it up.F90B3336-DFE6-4C9D-995F-24826C03AF8E.jpeg

2 cpm 10v honesukis. I've wanted something to use as a boning knife that has much better performance than what you can find on the market already. I was able to get 2 out of the billet I had. Did those tonight. Also the first proper liquid nitrogen heat treatment I've done. Which was kinda cool.

I need to finish tempering, then for the really fun part. Grinding hardened 10v 😅
