I still need to do some final cleanup and work on these three but happy with how they came out so far. Overall, I have grown tremendously with improvement in design, feel, grinding and F&F over the last several months after getting my own 2x72. Still, lots of room to grow but happy to celebrate some personal wins. These are 1084 or 8670 with bog oak with brown micarta pins.

Got my heat treat oven tonight. Was an ordeal and a half, drove all over fort worth to get to the right FedEx location after some miscommunication (my fault), but here it is. Looks to be pretty well made for about the only sub 1500 dollar oven on the market.

Haven't fired the oven yet but got to turn it on and play with the controller. I didn't realize it's a touch screen. Very easy to set the temp. Overall my first impression is very impressed with the value of it. The coils are recessed into the grooves so it would have to be intentional to touch a blade to them, and the diagram shows a door cutoff switch, which I can hear clicking when I open and close the door.

The value that Paragon has put into this machine is extremely impressive, plus they're in Texas so I got to support a local business!

Another small hunter in AEB-L @62.5, SS bolster and Cocobolo scales getting ready for the final work.

I want to “do” an average of one knife show per month in 2023. Toward that end I just purchased a school bus for conversion to RV to make the trips and enjoy the sights. It might not be IN my shop but it is about my shop.
