New Magnacut profile cleaned up. This steel is great, but is has the worst "from the mill" finish I have seen in a PM steel so far. Cleaning it up at 63 Hrc is only so so fun.

My 4th knife, 2nd time pattern welded billet. Small kitchen knife for a customer. I generally make timber framing and log building tools so this has been a fun departure and I've sold three out of the four before they were even finished. I did end up narrowing the handle swell quite a bit from this picture.

Dipped the lowest voltage gold as a base, that will get left as edging on the scales...now to go in and color the scales themselves

Green seemed fitting for the first piece in the Protech Knives titanium TR3 "Dragon Skin" series, there will be three pieces in different color schemes

This side is ready to get masked off and have the frame blasted for contrast and grip, then it'll be time to start the front side

Got the handle and guard done (for the most part) just need to finish hand sanding the blade and it'll be ready for glue up.
