Couple of weeks ago I saw a knife in this thread from Navman that had a rounded spine and some jimping and I really liked it. This is my first finished blade with those features and even though I could have rounded the spine a lot more, I still like it and will do more of it. So thanks to Navman but also many others for all for all the inspiration I get from this thread.
I am a little bothered by the rough finish inside the decorative grooves on the bolster but maybe we can say it's "rustic".

Got a set of screws ano'd to match, found some black cardstock for one last mockup of these hand engraved and selectively anodized Deadlock inlays before they head back to Hawk Knives for assembly! This piece will be up for auction at the upcoming Blade Show in Atlanta 😁

They are making knives back in 2013 better than we do today :) The last time he was on the forum was in 2016 . I would give a dollar to find out if he still making knives ........
For some reason it pulled that page up and I didn't notice it wasn't current.

It doesn't matter  I was just thinking out loud. I have scrolled through all the pages over time. I wonder how many of them who are no longer active on this forum still make knives .. .. .

Honduran rosewood general purpose knife. Could use some advice on if\how I should fill those tiny knotholes.

Make some fine sawdust, preferably from the same wood. Rub it into the hole/crack. Add a drop or two of CA glue, it should be wet. Sprinkle a bit more sawdust on top, adding another drop of glue if it looks dry. Let it cure for a day and then sand it off. If your knot holes are black you can use ebony or blackwood sawdust to blend in. Whatever you use will turn a bit darker than the original wood.
