A couple knives I finished recently.
This first one is something i was asked to make for a charity auction a local aa club does. They just said there are a lot of bikers that go there, and kinda gave me free reign.
I ended up doing a knife inspired by the buck 119, but with a full tang construction.
M2 steel, natural linen micarta scales, and i forge welded some mokume-gane (basically damascus made of copper and nickel) for the guard, the butt, and the pins.
I had to rush some parts because i was already behind on knives I was making to sell. But overall I'm pretty happy with it.
This one is a 9 inch (225mm) gyuto in cpm m4, with a mokume-gane ferrule/bolster with a sweet gum handle museum fit to it. Stone wash finish, though it doesnt really come through much in the picture.
This last one I havent finished yet, but thought i would share. Its a little bunka with w2 clad in wrought iron.
I might not sell this one. I did it to get an idea of how wrought iron forge welds. So i could have a better chance at success later on with steels im more interested in.
