Been a bit since I’ve been on but here is the last couple I’ve been able to do.

6.75” santoku with dymalux scales. 80crv2. Delivered it yesterday and today the guys friend contacted me for a gyuto and a fillet knife. Working out the details this weekend.

And a 5.75” utility knife with some absolute gorgeous maple from Stacy E. Apelt - Bladesmith Stacy E. Apelt - Bladesmith with black g10, red liner and a mosaic pin. Been working on forging as much to shape and bevels. Makes for a longer process each one instead of stock removal but really enjoy the process.
 
So, I profiled, HT, and tapered the tangs on 2 long EDC knives. I thought a finger choil would be cool. But after I ground the bevels on the first one I discovered ...

So what do I do? Throw them both away before I go someone sees? I decided to make a recurve out of the second one to get rid of the choil.

It's amazing what difference a small tweak can do.

It's amazing what difference a small tweak can do.
That’s a pretty big tweak in my book, but it made a proportionate difference in the appearance, style, & attitude of that knife. I really like it!
