The mirror polish bevel with the rough flat looks great. (I can say it was worth it, but I'm not the one who spent hours sanding on it.) I look forward to seeing the finished knife.

Made out of (mainly) rosewood, bronze, steel, leather. 1 strop on each side. Internal compartment to store polishing pastes. It has a lot of weight so it actually might be possible to just lay this on the table and strop away, without holding it - we'll see.

I'll be giving these to two of my friends in a few weeks, I hope they'll like it.
 
Yeah, either a large bandsaw that cuts straight or a table saw. Looks like almost 2" thick, so you can also do the side cuts.
It’s 1.5” thick so I can definitely cut it different directions. My table saw is 7 hours away so I’m going to see if I can find someone with a decent bandsaw nearby.
 
M42 HSS steel blade , hardened stainless steel frame *pinned* and hidden pins for wood scale...Hardened stainless steel hard chrome 5mm pivot ,holes for pivot are finished with *lapping* lock prefect and even pass that stupid * Spine Whack * test :)

Now is time to grind some bevels on it , end edge of course :)
