After doing my first knife in my living room and the few after that on my parking spot outside, I finally have received a quality belt grinder by Pawel (Poland) and can work in my small "washing" room.
Still waiting for enigma24 for answering their emails, since you can't get the belts in Germany.

We are not allowed to post links here, but check score schleifwerkzeuge, should be able to get quality belts in all sizes. Enigma 24 works good though and has the best pricing.

Are they 50x1000mm?
I used to use a machine that takes that size.
You can have belts made to order but you have to take 10 per grit size.

Does your machine have variable speed?

score schleifwerkzeuge
Ill take a look. But enigma also has the aluminium tool for hand sanding which I wanna buy. But Im a bit annoyed that they have not answered since I transfered money via Paypal

Edit: I took at look at Score, but after clicking calculating the price nothing happens :(

Nope, they are 50x900 sadly. I have a seller in Germany which makes custom sizes, but they are more expensive.
I bought the frequency thingy with it (dont know the english word), you can see it on the left. I have not tried it, but Pawl connected it, so it should be variable speed

Score Schleifwerkzeuge has a good selection of belts

Variable Frequency Drive. It looks like you've got a little dial for speed there. Nice machine.

I am surprised why they made it 50x900 instead of 50x1000 if those belts are more readily available?

Is that a logo on the side of the black beam, what looks like two arrow shapes and a hole? If that's a through-hole, could the machine be modified with an idler wheel that'll turn it into a three-wheel machine and get you the other 10cm of belt length so you can go 50x1000?

Me too. I am not sure if 50x1000 are readily availabe in Poland, Crotia etc. but it seems 50x900 is a common length there. What I find more ironic though is that many of the 50x900 are made in Germany. But you just cant find them, other than being custom made

I mean, thats an idea which could work. Though I am not that much into metalworking, so Ill try to keep custom made belts or order them outside of Germany
