That’s a beauty.Lambfoot in A2 and stabilized burl. Hand rubbed to 800grit on blade, engraved with diamond scratch bit, hand rubbed to 2000grit on scale, wax matte finish
I've been having repeated issues with gaps at the spine. I think it is the way I am putting liners on disc sander. Going to only touch it on the disc after initial spot welding and stick to paper on flat surface.

You should learn how to cast in resin... That could make some cool scales
I have my work cutout for me for the next (many) months.
2 bowie challange blades, 2 simple fulltang knives, 6 gyuto blades, 2 folders. Unfortunately the gyuto blades are only hardened to 60 HRC (I asked the facility for 62 - it's AEB-L).

Not saying it's bad, but maybe suboptimal - the internet told me to go for 62 or 63 as ideal... Also, the bigger the number, the higher the sale price (jk).60 Hrc AEB-L is not a bad thing
