Finished this one up

Got some unexpected practice drilling out the pivot and lockbar pin but it came back together pretty good I think.

well...another machine issue. The motor on my grinder is stuttering. I turn on the VFD and the motor has difficulty starting then only spins for a moment, stops, tries again, stops etcetra. is this a motor issue or a vfd issue?

Id first check wiring connection?
Vibration can loosen them up.

Vfd's will get confused with inconsistenties

Motors usually fail, it's bearings, crunchy, chunky, loud, metal wearing away failure.

Make sure your terminals are good and tight now

Took an integral hunter class w the - often imitated never duplicated - Adam DesRosiers, at Jason Knights shop in Tennessee.

One of the other guys there was kind enough to forge up some Twisted W’s and share it with the class.

What diameter wheel are you using Navman?

On that one I used a 10 inch wheel. I usually use a 21" radius platen.

Masochist is right, but I found that diamond film and EDM stones help.

It works!!! Made 2 guards for the last 2 of my SKS (Shop Knife Scapel) with 1/16" thick steel.

oh man, so happy to have gotten this done over the weekend! The most anxiety provoking process for me is installing handles- at least when it comes to these kinds of complicated handles.
