Made a little stand/holder-thingie for the tig torch.

Made it metallic blue, to match the welding cart, and definitely not, because I had a ton of the paint left over, with nothing to use it on :p
You can put the magnetic base anywhere (that's magnetic) and pull through as much cable as you think you need, so it also acts as a strain relief, so the weight of the package is mitigated while you weld.
Can't remeber where I saw this style of stand, but I wanted to make one ever since. No more wrapping the wire around my shoulders to get the weight off of the torch :D

That's not a bad idea. Pedal power turns the grinder, saves on electricity bills and you get a workout in the process.

I've seen video of people all over the world with pedal powered grinding stones, but I personally prefer the little box with tiny horses in it that make my grinder go

I'm ready to do the final polish and sharpening on the CD#1 blade pictured below. It's a puukko inspired design.. I think it looks like a glorified steak knife, but my craftsmanship is improving. The last picture is of a sheath I made yesterday for a 3V blade I finished a few months ago. The sheath is an improvement over my previous attempts, but I lost the bottom two decorative stamps when I folded the leather over to do the stitching. Any advice on how to prevent that from happening would be very much appreciated. .
