I finally broke down and ordered a 35 liter wide mouth dewar the other day. Hopefully it will arrive this week or early next.

Fit up a copper guard and got the handle block fit for this drop point hunter in 4V.

Also sent in 36 blades to Peters' today.

Well, I am now part robotic. Last week I had a spinal stimulator implanted in my back to deal with a whole lot of sciatic chronic pain.
If you're dealing with chronic pain electronic stimulation is a very effective solution .
My results have been very good and hoping for more as time progresses.
Only bad part is I'm out of the shop for about 3 weeks.

Medical science has surely made some incredible advancements in the last 20-years. Happy to hear of your success.

What did you order?
well, I was looking at Ebay for the longest time- some fairly respectable looking machines there....with a 60 day guarantee.
From talking with my main dude, Matthew Gregory Matthew Gregory , I became convinced that warranty, support and repair parts might be fairly important for a machine like this.
The machine I really wanted was from Precision Matthews, but getting one from the US to here was no bueno, so I ended up ordering a Craftex CX601, which is a 1.5hp 500lb machine. I doubt I wouldn't taken the leap if it weren't on sale- $2850 for a $4100 machine.

Into glue up! For me this is a two-stage process. I use JB weld (classic) to secure the press fit metal guard and provide a strong, waterproof seal against blood or other potential contaminates, then system 3 epoxy for the handle to tang/guard with the pin in place. I could probably drill the pin hole after the epoxy sets, but this has worked for me.

Next step, shape the handle and make it comfortable.

Some little edc knives for a church sale. The young boys in church love this stuff. I’ll be selling it to them for $75 with a pocket slip. The handles will be wrapped in paracord for simple scales. To everyone else that wants one, it’s $125 with slip. I want to make it cheap so I can promote the craft and endear them to it. Hopefully someone will show an interest and carry it on.

And no, moderators, I’m not trying to sell on here. When I do, I will upgrade my membership.
