Started rough grinding a small batch this morning, three hollow grinds and two ffg’s. Sometimes I feel like I’m cheating when I go from FFG to a hollow grinds. Nah.

Hello there!
Once again, I'd swear I posted a couple of days ago, then life happens and it's weeks between my posts.
Aaaanyway, my experimentation and practice for better tolerances/finish is still going strong.

Not much here, a wire wrapped handle and a two piece d-guard. Both were done mostly done for fun because I've always wanted to try these techniques.

What's really taking my time nowadays is learning to do curved fullers. While it takes some practice, it's doable with rather simple tools. Matching the second side is tricky but with proper scribing it can be accurate.

Last but not least, I always keep up with my practice on the basics as a preparation for my master smith stamp in the future.
Nowadays I'm a fan of square plunge lines. While harder to finish, I like the definition.
These are at 5x magnification, as a size reference, the edge is at 0.25mm/~10 thou.

Can you show us how you make those?
