Okay, I checked and it looks like I did pick watermelon for the Badger Scout.

Preliminary apex on the grinder at 220 grit, and final sharpening, honing and stropping will be done at home by hand as I do on all my knives except certain zero convex grinds. It cuts acceptably now but it will cut like silk when I'm done.

What a wonderful looking pair of wharnies - the spicy "pickle" is the Kagitsume model.

But what is the pattern name for the top one with blue micarta handles? I already forgot.
