What's happening in the David Mary Custom shop?

Ummm, that is one of the more awkward and rather unsafe chainsaw positions I have seen recently ! LOL

I like that mid sized knife.

Then I clean up the etch on fine scotchbrite.

I clean then stencil by rubbing the metal off gently with my thumb and forefinger dipped in water.

Clean the brass applicator often.
Thank you....
Any worries or means of keeping bleed through, or seepage?
Do you wash, clean the stencil after every knife?

I cut the first stencil too close to it's shape. I thought I needed to tape it down, and mask it off.

Idk if my amperage was too strong? But I've been now getting the masking lines showing up on my blade. What's funny is that I didn't get it on the first one.

I can send another pic if I'm not being clear?

Just salt water really worked good though, I was surprised.
I wonder if etchent is better?

Just did this one.

Yes. Leave lots of bleed area. Tape everything but the design with painters tape. Don't let any liquid get underneath it. Dry everything extremely well before you etch. I know your pain, believe me I do.
