What's happening in the David Mary Custom shop?

DocJekl DocJekl I initially saw your post on my phone, but was browsing the thread again on my computer just now, and can see it better. Looks like you meant remove the belly, but keep the harpoon. Neat idea. Actually love the look.

I put a nice mirror trailing clip point on this one and stippled the handle for a friend. I think this design screams for a trailing point, and I’d love to see you do one too - perhaps with your third subject. Maybe with some serrations for good measure? 😺

i'm kinda surprised more didn't jump at the chance for a mod spartan. this knife screams for different custom mods...and who better than David to make them happen....
 
Thanks jbmonkey jbmonkey . I just finished resharpening an edge for a gentleman who sent me a Damascus kitchen knife for repair. Someone had apparently tried to stab the Hulk with it, and it needed the tip straightened back out, and that portion that wouldn't straighten had to be ground off, and reprofiled. It is an $800 knife. If I were this customer I'd be giving out ban notices to visitors to my house after that one.
