Kinda expensive material so to make it last I split half the scales in half and then glued liners to em, or some thicker black G10. So I’ll be able to make at least a dozen knives of various sizes with it for not a ridiculous amount over base price.

I don’t always turn off the shop overhead light. But when I do:

Handles are sanded, blades are sharpened, satin finishes to be refined and marks added then sheaths and the batch is done.

My 3V neck knife, gotten so used to having it on now that it is on me 24 hours a day sometimes. Even sleep with it on. Wear it in the shower all the time too, and so far not a spot of rust.

Just kind wish I hadn’t used stabilized wood for the inlay given that the constant moisture changes made it shrink
