What's on your keys?

I guess you could call this an update I got a P51 can opener from my local suplus store but I also got a new Spyderco Endura 4 Spyderedge :D :D

To you guys with P51/P38 can openers. Do you put something on it so it won't flop around or do you just leave it be? I put a small O ring on mine so it won't open in my pocket and scratch my stuff. I found on the P51's there is a little lip under the hinge where the blade itself is. You can see it in this picture it's the black rusted spot if you don't know what i'm talking about. (Picture is not mine)

I put an O ring in that little spot so I can slide the ring up so it won't open but if I just slide it down a little I can use it. Anybody else do something like this?

I just put a couple wraps of electrical tape. Left open, I've had my trucks seat cut by the 'hook' since I carry my key-ring on a carabiner on the left hip :rolleyes:
 
My O ring thing is working well i'm pretty sure that i'm going to have to replace it after some time but it's better than it opening in my pocket and breaking or worse cutting my pants open.

Ouch today I was putting my hand into my pocket and I guess I had forgot to put the O ring back over it and the hook got under a cut I had a re opened it. I'm going to put 2 O rings on now...
 
I looked at the http://www.pockettoolx.com/ tool and it actually looked pretty interesting the first time I did it looks way to big but now I think it could be a pretty nice tool if you didn't have it on your keys just as a designated pocket tool it would be pretty nice.
 
Do any of you guys carry rescue stuff on your keys. I know Benchmade has a little tool that I heard works well.

I have a pair of shroud cutters in my car, had to use one of them once on someone else and I learned the small tiny Benchmade Model 5 wasn't that great as I needed something that gave me more control and grip on it so I got a Model 8.

The Model 8 sits up front with me, I keep the Model 5 in the trunk with my bag.
 
Hey guys I got my peanut lighters in today and I love them. I havn't put one on my keys yet but I do have a question about whistles I know Atwood makes very nice ones but who else makes Stainless whistles in the same "shape" of his the cylinder looking ones. I ordered a TOPS one and I may or may not like it but does anybody know of any stores that have them?

That thing is like a 2mm vial...not worth it. If your going to order one just get one from DX. Why waste $10 for a 2mm vial when you can spend $5 more for a 22mm vial?

Seriously talk to iknitsteel and you should be able to send a USPS MO to him (he's in the USA) and you'll get something 10,000 times better. A trit vial that small isn't really that good, the glow is going to be smaller and fainter and really not all that practical.

I talked to a DealExtreme rep and they will not be getting them back in stock so :( But that website I posted does have them so i'm going to pick one up and I am lacking a credit card so it would be very hard to get one from iknitsteel.

You can't send a money order to iknitsteel or do a paypal bank account transfer?
