Wife just found out a few days ago that her childhood crown/root canal is too far gone and will need to come out. She’s bummed, but that’s childhood dentistry in south Texas thirty years ago for you. Modern dentistry is amazing. Hope you feel better soon and get back to enjoying your favorite foods.
Not sure. I suspect just poor dental hygiene. We both grew up very poor, and didn’t receive dental care until we began working in high school. She was kicked out, and my mother simply moved out of town the week I graduated high school to go back to college herself. I was born with renal failure and I think she was chasing some dream of her own, long put on hold. Dental hygiene is just one of those things that falls between the cracks, growing up the way we did.Childhood crown/root canal? Why?

Lol. Not to be a Debbie downer. We’re very comfortable now, together, but we’ve had to play catch-up on a number of things.
