What's that you're eating?

Catching up . . . when I'm bored, I like to cook & when I have some company I like to go out to eat.

So, here are various pics of things I've been cooking/eating over the past few weeks & 1 pic of what I'm planning to cook this week.

Some sliced gravlax (made by me) with a honey dill sauce and a glass of $200/bottle cabernet sauvignon (a pic of the bottle & the carafe w/the wine in it can be found above) that I just served to myself for a mid-morning snack:

My wife made a big Christmas dinner for our family...
Beef Wellington (whole beef tenderloin wrapped in puff pastry over chopped/diced mushrooms and liver/duck pâté),
Creamed spinach, cooked carrots along with a warm cauliflower/mushroom and Italian parsley salad.
The meal was complemented by having a very nice Bordeaux style red wine from Chile.
For a desert my wife and daughter also made a homemade Yule Log cake.
A rolled-up sponge cake stuffed with a chocolate/custard type filling and covered with chocolate ganache icing and some white meringue and dark chocolate mushrooms.

Beef Wellington tonight here as well!
