Catching up . . . when I'm bored, I like to cook & when I have some company I like to go out to eat.
So, here are various pics of things I've been cooking/eating over the past few weeks & 1 pic of what I'm planning to cook this week.
Steaming a Cha Siu Bow (BBQ Pork Bun) for breakfast today:
Prep for a plate of Bitter Melon Stuffed w/#1 Marinated Ground Pork and for 2.5# of Braised Oxtails:
Loco Moco for bunch - it's hard to see but it's poached egg, on top of a hamburger patty, on top of rice covered w/beef gravy:
Grilled Oysters w/a Glass of IPA at Logorio's in Farmington:
Beef Dolsot Bi Bim Bap w/a large bottle of Sapporo (not in the pic) at my local Korean Restaurant:
Two chickens that I bought on sale & roasted beer can style (I used a sparking cider soda instead) in my oven:
And just one more pic . . .
Some sliced gravlax (made by me) with a honey dill sauce and a glass of $200/bottle cabernet sauvignon (a pic of the bottle & the carafe w/the wine in it can be found above) that I just served to myself for a mid-morning snack:
