What's that you're eating?

Having the wife’s RAV4 serviced. Pistachio latte for breakfast this morning.

I don’t lift a finger to service these new cars myself. Twelve years ago I was still driving a 1970 Fiat 124 Sport Spider, and before that a 1974 Celica gt coupe. I used to find it therapeutic to do my own maintenance, cleaning as I went. Now we’re just driving laptops. Well, also I’ve become massively lazy too.

I was getting ready to poke fun at your food choices, then I realized that you are probably adhering to some semblance of a diet.

In years past, one of my biggest pitfalls with exercise regimens was the diet and nutrition portion of it. It's easy to tell a fellow, "Eat chicken, broccoli, and brown rice every day and watch the gains roll in". Problem is, I get bored very easily with food and cannot eat the same thing over and over again without wanting desperately to leave this world behind.

A lifesaver for me in that regard was discovering the app FitMenCook. It's brimming with recipes that are categorized by goals (low carb, high carb, post workout, etc.) and they include all the macro info as well. The recipes are amazing - if you haven't checked that app out, I would definitely recommend it. I have been using it for years.

The woman bought tuna steaks and flounder from ALDI. She's been bugging me to cook one of them.

The tuna steaks are weird. I'm sure they're ok. I just don't think it's a real fish but whatever.

Flounder. Fillets less then a 1/4 inch thick.

So tonight it's flounder. Gordon Ramsay rice and green beans.

Wife picked up a big pack of wings from Sam’s over the weekend along with some sweet corn.
Grilled then sauced with hot bbq and a few green onions, I failed to take a pic of my jalapeño ranch dip.

I know I know blue cheese is proper and I don’t know many other men who love blue cheese as much as myself, so much so I can’t hardly eat it but from a couple places that make it in house. When I go there I always call ahead to get at least a quart to go.
Hidden Valley ranch dip dry seasoning, 1 cup Dukes mayo, 1 cup sour cream, 2 jalapeños run through the food processor will do in a pinch!
