The secret squirrel way to keep your grill from rotting out. Is to turn it off. Wash the white ash out. Lump charcoal doesn't melt to dust when it gets wet. It just gets wet but dries out. Put the fire out and rinse the grill.

No white ash. It forms Lye.

The wife cooked everything today. Fresh cast-iron bread for breakfast. Fresh creamed spinach with bacon, leek, and walnut. NY strip steak. She’s finishing some crab cakes on cast-iron in the oven right now but they won’t be out for a while yet. Feeling super spoiled.

The wife made a late breakfast for us this morning.




She said she blended mine with orange juice, orange vodka, hibiscus syrup, grenadine, and frozen blueberries. She was shooting for a spinach and goat cheese omelette but ended up making a scramble instead.

Thank you! She really enjoys plating things to look nice. My drinks always have very little alcohol in them. They’re mostly just tasty fruit juices.
