What's that you're eating?

One of the best tasting, most versatile cuts I’ve had 👍❤️
Forgot to mention that I also put the roasted pork belly in the oven under the broiler to re-crisp the skin before serving it. 😋

Still have a small piece of it in the frig that I need to eat before it goes bad. Going to do that later today. :)

A BLT with Onion Rings & a pint of Pliny the Elder for lunch yesterday . . .

Left over Prime Rib on the bone that my daughter bought home for me. Cooked Medium Rare absolutely perfect, so tender it was a bit hard to cut so thin.

Layered between my new favorite bread, Ezekiel 4:9, Flourless Live Sprouted Grain Bread.

A simple topping spread of Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise made with Cage Free Eggs, brings the natural flavors together.

Just a small dash of White Pepper ties it up. With a small can of low sodium V8 as the liquid beverage of choice.

Delicious, nutritious, and very gentle on the stomach and digestive tract.

It’s in the frozen food section, although not all 7 different varieties they offer. I’ve also seen it advertised on Amazon too, together with a lot of their other products they offer, such as cereal, made the same way, but I’ve never ordered it from them yet.
It’s expensive, but I think it’s worth it. Depending upon which store, anywhere from $7.49 to $9.99 a loaf, Amazon is at the lower end of the price range, with more varieties being offered.

It’s heavier (weight wise) than a regular loaf of bread, and size wise it’s a smaller loaf length wise, as it’s not all puffed up and fluffy. It’s definitely more dense and has zero yeast bubbles.

The loaf in my picture is 1.5 pounds (24oz), and much shorter in length, but about the same diameter, maybe a touch larger than a regular loaf of White or Rye..

Once thawed out in your refrigerator, it’s listed as fresh for 3 weeks, plus it comes double bagged too (first I’ve seen).

On my loaf pictured, the flavor has almost a nutty aftertaste and you can definitely taste the grains.

It’s the only bread I eat now. They also sell it as a Hamburger Bun too.

I think you would really like the taste and texture

got back from my walk this morning, took off my glasses, washed my face and started prepping my yogurt/granola breakfast. I put all kinds of things in there, and today remembered I have some sesame seeds, so I grabbed the bag in the spice cupboard and poured about a tablespoon worth in with everything else. And then I noticed it smelled like onions. Because it was dried, minced onion. I ate it anyway. It was, well...it was not good.

going to the optometrist next week.

Had a work dinner last night with a vendor from Texas. They’re were 8 of us but would’ve thought it was 20 by the amount of food.

Seafood tower (one of 2)

My meal…strip steak with peppercorn sauce. Sorry for the dark pic.

The vendor ordered this tomahawk ribeye for the table, while he had spaghetti and meatballs😳

Also lamb for the table

Seafood-stuffed veal chop special that about half the people ordered

Steak au poivre was probably my favorite for the longest time, since I was a kid.

Been way too long since I’ve had it. I’ll definitely need to rectify that.
