What's that you're eating?

I got lucky and learned when I was a kid. I think they're superior to forks when eating long noodles of any kind. Now I'm trying to get my daughter to learn.
My wife has probably tried to teach me like ten times already.I’d just grab a fork for the rolls.

Even in fancy places where they make really good rolls and there are only chopsticks available,I would very politely ask for a fork…!

To be fair, I’m most likely just super lazy, and for some reason my brain simply refuses to learn this skill

Visited one of my favorite dive bars this past Sunday -- Al the Wops in Locke, CA.

Hard to tell from the pic but "special" ordered a Grilled Cheese, Bacon & Fried Egg sandwich with Onion Rings & some Ranch Dressing on the side.

There's a double shot of Kaula in Black Coffee in the pint glass. It was the 2nd one ordered. Asked the bartender to heat both up in the microwave so that they were piping hot!

Hangin in there, you?

Been busy! Just got back home and I’m a wee bit tired.

Hit up a Thai place in Fresno before heading home. Pad Thai with shrimp, scallops, and calamari, as well as some red curry. The Pad Thai was heavy on the squid and pretty light on the other stuff, but the flavor was good at least.
