What's that you're eating?

Pile-o-leftovers for breakfast.

Chunky slab of salmon (skin on - bacon of the sea!) and the leaves of the trees it was caught in. ;) With the red hot sauce of Frank, of course.

I add that it is amazing to me that the "skin on" salmon is always cheaper than the equivalent sized skinless filets. More nutrients, less money, because (presumably) the buying public at large is grossed out?

Lunch yesterday -- Beef Dolsot Bibimbap with a large bottle of OB Korean beer. No knife needed; just chopsticks & a long Korean spoon.

Pic before I mixed up the stuff in the bowl w/all of the stuff on the ban chan plate (except for the white/yellow radishes):

Pic after everything was all mixed together and ready to eat:

After lunch yesterday, I drove to a local BBQ joint on the LONG way home and bought a 3 rib rack of BBQ Beef Ribs. :)

Almost always forget to put a knife in the pic with the food but here's what I used to separate the ribs.

And here's what they looked like from the side. The meat has already cooled, so doesn't look that juicy but it will be again after it's reheated.

Going to reheat/eat one tonight or tomorrow for dinner or lunch and vacuum seal/freeze the others for later.

Been cooking and baking a LOT lately. I'll have to post some pics.

But for now, here'a a pic of the Yankee Pot Roast that I cooked in my Instant Pot yesterday. Excellent for a cold night. Carrots, Celery, Potatoes, Onions, Mushrooms. 3 3/4 pount chuck roast, browned first on all sides.. There is a LOT of beef hidden under all those vegetables. Everything PERFECT tenderness (had to add the veggies 80% of the way through cooking the beef. to prevent them from turning to mush). It was literally the best pot roast I ever made - or even ate.
