yup!Lorien , is that a shepherd's/cottage/hunter's pie?
yup!
ground pork, carrots, cauliflower, onions and peas in duck broth with fennel and basil, with layer of refried black beans, layer of cheese. Top mashed potatoes with duck fat, garlic, cream cheese, rosemary...
I just buy a frozen duck and roast it. Plenty of fat which keeps for weeks, plus I make a nice broth for soup and other things. Duck is better than chicken, imo- nothing beats that crispy skin!Lorien , sounds delightful. You've inspired me to procure some duck fat in the near future.
I cannot remove that from my mind.I cooked a goose one Christmas and it grossed me out, the long wings were like arms, made me feel like I was cooking a big dead baby, and then you gotta stab it over and over to get the breast grease to leak out, ah man
I cannot remove that from my mind.
Maybe some vodka will help
salami will not ''beak your nuts'' or break your face with its wing.Pick salami
a bit overcooked...
