Baked some chocolate chip cookies. 1st time I ever used the Silpat. It saves a lot of time/trouble.

Not bad for a $1.25 package. The package use to just cost $1 but the "dollar store" isn't a "dollar store" anymore.

Just add 1/2 stick butter & 1 tbsp of H20. It only took about 20 mins to make them (10 to mix & 10 to bake).

Just cost a little over 10 cents each. Going to buy some more.

We both enjoy cooking.

We were both career workers who met and married in our later twenties. Healthcare and metalfab. I think it was pretty early in our relationship-and maybe only the second time she ever came over-she brought half a butchered goat carcass in a black plastic trash bag and stuffed it in my freezer. I was hooked after those first goat tacos.

Thank you! I think natural light goes a long way to make things look more appetizing, and the camera isn’t bad in this old iPhone11. The wife gets so much enjoyment from little snack platters with wine. It was 59F and sunny yesterday.

It was good! She has a few favorites, mostly WA and CA red blends, and mostly inexpensive. I think the Conundrum red is about the priciest that we ever buy.
