What's the BEST Folder You Have...and YOUR FAVORITE?

Benchmade Auto Stryker. Followed by its manual couterpart.

I still think they make some of the best blades out there !

First post rofl.

Highest priced: benchmade 706 which I paid out for the nose to get. it sits in my bolt down safe. I got it second hand but it obviously had never been used and only opened to check the knife itself. Oh, I also have a henry williams but I didnt intitially put it in becuase it cost me less than the 706, but I believe the msrp was considerably higher but you know discontinued drives the prices way way way way up for gold series knives.
favorite: lol depends on the application doesnt it?

overall favorite is my bradley alias I. yes I realize its a sebenza copy, but I dont really care. I dont own a sebenza, and I wont I think. Well, if I see one of lisa's picks that really, really gets my fancy, I may buy it. the bradley is just looks sooooo good to me. The thing I like most about it though is that its most like a regular pocket knife and since I live in what you might call a "dangerous" city, it offers some worst case scenario assurance since the deployment takes 0 wrist action and is super fast, all without drawing attention from law enforcement who probably look at a 20 year old as only being up to no good and would view most of my collection in a less friendly light. It also seems to be an impressive knife, several people who I have shown it to have gone on to order their own.

another favorite of mine and my personal favorite out of my too large collection of benchmades (which btw are pretty much all I own except for 3 other knives - the above and below being one of them - knives) is my 710d2 (satin finish, plain edge). its absolutely brilliant, <3 the axis lock, I really like the recurve and blade length, and it is SHARP like nothing else. In Kill Bill, hanzo says "If on your journey, you should encounter God, God will be cut", and I think really he was talking about this knife. I would carry it every day if I was looking for a backup to a concealed firearm (which I dont carry, therefore, no need for a tactical knife to be a backup).

I am not sure which is my favorite but i keep finding my Ritter MK2 or Kershaw JunkYard Dog II Titanium in my pocket. ZT 0300 and ZT 0301 are great to handle and look at but not as light as I like for all day carry. I have a Benchmade Skirmish on the way so we'll see about that. Lots of good folder out there.

Two of my favourites; A 805 TSEK's 440C blade matched with the carbon fibre handle from the 806-701 AFCK and a 943 Osborne's S30V blade matched with the CF handle from a 941D2CF:

Next to a fixed blade, a Mission A-2 with drop point. A pretty tough piece, works well with gloves. I have several 3V blades from Bailey Bradshaw that I carry. I have a white wing Wharncliffe that is 5+ years EDC. It has more miles left in it then I do. Multi blade would be a Bradshaw gun stock with hand jigged bone and 3V. Tomes double locker is a great knife also.

My best and favorite folders? The list might intermingle, but it would have to include Kershaw's S60V Blur, Mini Cyclone and Leek in Ti/ZDP, SG2 Blur, Random Task, Talon, CPM 440V Boa and Lahar in VG-10 (fantastic knife for $ 50!). Also my BM Skirmish and large Classic Sebbie.

Here's a good old thread I thought deserved a bump.

Hi Folks -

This was a fun thread to read through - and very enlightening!

Currently, the best folder I have is an Emerson CQC-7, and my favorite right now is the Smith and Wesson Cuttin Horse that my son gave me for Christmas:

I'm guessing that I'm like a lot of people around here in that my Best and Favorite change pretty often.

Sometimes I love a new knife for a while and eventually put it to the side and fall for another. Right now, I think my Night Sky Large Sebenza is my best, but I never carry it.

My favorite might be my Green Titanium Bump, but my Victorinox One-Hand Trekker has been with longer than anything other than a Schrade I was given 25 years ago. It is my "go-to" working knife.

I fell hard for my Buck Mayo TNT when I got it, but that's faded a little. Most days, I'm looking to carry something light and the TNT fits the bill, along with a Small Micarta Sebenza or a Purple FFG Spyderco Native, that is the preferred hiking/jogging choice. I'm also loving a new serrated edge ZDP-189 Delica, which might be my best cutter ever.

My favourite is actually my Benchmade Rift 950, or in alternative my Spyderco Military BG-42.
The best...don't know...probably my vintage Al-Mar Top Gun

My best is my full size Manix 1. My favorites are that one and my ZT 0300. They'll soon get some competition by an FRN Stretch II though.

My best is split between 2 Sebenzas. My favourite is the Spyderco Sage I, assuming we're talking about onehanded openers. I don't want to have to choose between the Sage I and my favourite slippies...

My best manix,my favorite is the mini manix. I'm carring a paramiltary spyderco. I seem to have misplaced the mini manix, and the G2 sheath it was carried in.

have to say my favorites are my kershaw skyline and zytel ti-lite. the skyline is my EDC and has been for some time, and the ti-lite is my oldest "serious" knife and feels real good in hand.

my best are my case burnt stag trapper and my spyderco kris. i really like my kris, i just don't use it for fear of losing or damaging it. the trapper's just a little odd for me to use. i'm too used to my lighter knives, it just seems weighty in the pocket. like the stag though.
