Highest priced: benchmade 706 which I paid out for the nose to get. it sits in my bolt down safe. I got it second hand but it obviously had never been used and only opened to check the knife itself. Oh, I also have a henry williams but I didnt intitially put it in becuase it cost me less than the 706, but I believe the msrp was considerably higher but you know discontinued drives the prices way way way way up for gold series knives.
favorite: lol depends on the application doesnt it?
overall favorite is my bradley alias I. yes I realize its a sebenza copy, but I dont really care. I dont own a sebenza, and I wont I think. Well, if I see one of lisa's picks that really, really gets my fancy, I may buy it. the bradley is just looks sooooo good to me. The thing I like most about it though is that its most like a regular pocket knife and since I live in what you might call a "dangerous" city, it offers some worst case scenario assurance since the deployment takes 0 wrist action and is super fast, all without drawing attention from law enforcement who probably look at a 20 year old as only being up to no good and would view most of my collection in a less friendly light. It also seems to be an impressive knife, several people who I have shown it to have gone on to order their own.
another favorite of mine and my personal favorite out of my too large collection of benchmades (which btw are pretty much all I own except for 3 other knives - the above and below being one of them - knives) is my 710d2 (satin finish, plain edge). its absolutely brilliant, <3 the axis lock, I really like the recurve and blade length, and it is SHARP like nothing else. In Kill Bill, hanzo says "If on your journey, you should encounter God, God will be cut", and I think really he was talking about this knife. I would carry it every day if I was looking for a backup to a concealed firearm (which I dont carry, therefore, no need for a tactical knife to be a backup).
