Happens all the time for me. Usually is the USPS shipping boxes. I'll slice through the tape, fight the glued flaps ALL before realizing theres a pull tap that opens one entire side. I hate that. Did that routine today actually.

SMF cc cutting plaster, drywall and some wire one a cabling job today. I will be using it for some dinner prep in a few min. Yes I did clean it first:)

Kershaw Skyline, to cut some para-cord that I was tying into a key fob for one of my friends.

Used my Spyderco blue-G-10 "BladeForums" Native to cut paper and tape getting parcels ready for shipping.

Queen Whittler to trim the flowers for mom's grave this morning.

Spyderco mini-manix to cut a drivers ed current event out of a newspaper. Its over kill, I know, but I just love the knife so much.

Went camping at the beach Saturday night. Used a Buck 301 stockman to cut some twine so I could hang the lantern.

Sunday I helped some friends open a bunch of moving boxes, still using the 301. (Moving is what lets you know who your real friends are, because they are the ones who will help you.)

Tonight I finally changed the filter on the furnace because my wife was chilly and wanted to turn it on (first time we've had it on this season.) I used my Canal Street Trapper to open the packaging on the new filter.
