whats the most you ever paid for a knife?

I think $384 for a large sebenza 21. My next high dollar knife is going to be a Yuna mini hard.

$99.00 plus tax for my Buck Alpha Dorado. Hoping to get the ZT0200 for Christmas :D

$400 for this:

Spending $225 20 years ago was hard. The first time I spent over $1000 was difficult. Dropping $3000 on a blade ordered a year ago was good. Walking out of the Blade show and realizing I'd spent over $10,000 was pretty strange.

Every price point has it's reaction. And once you pass it the next one beckons...

$1000 even, Custom Bowie out of the NC mountains made by Mike Hensley. I have a 2nd on order and It took almost 4 years to get the 1st one. Good stuff.

Let's just say it was in the thousands (if I get too specific, I will be skinned alive by the wife).

$455.00 U.S. for a Serbenza with computer graphics. Wish I had purchased a plain Jane model instead. Then it might get some use.:p

300$
I would pay more but it has to be something I will use. I like having nice things and I derive satisfaction from using nice things so price isn't the point, but things I don't use are a waste of money.

Just spent $390 on a Strider SMF, and $385 on a Large Sebenza. Both of which are WAY out of my normal spending range. Normally I wouldn't go over $175 for a knife. But I just had to try them both out. I should be getting them this week some time.:D
