What's your at work knife and your occupation?

Maintenance at a hospital. Leatherman wave with a flashlight on the side of the sheath and a blade such as an opinel 8 a case trapper or a rat 1 depending on my mood.

Lol we do criminal defense, home owner's insurance, immigration and soon when I join as an attorney, family law and probate. And our office isn't in the best part of the Miami downtown. And for some reason my law school is in a shitty part too, despite the school being great. So I'm always armed.

Worked for a long time on vehicle electrical systems. Needless to say, I used wire constantly. With its many ways to strip wires, including the wire stripping component in the bar, I used the SOG Kilowatt everyday.

I'm an archaeologist, and what I carry varies a lot. There is a lot of variability in where and what I do.

For the museum: As of this week I have been using the S&M Barlow that Eyedog sent my way, and it is wonderful for the fiddly stuff. I additionally almost always have my Lone Wolf T2.

For field work: Depending on what the setting is, my work knives are Kershaw Cryo (for travel abroad in case it gets lost/stolen), Gerber Applegate Fairbairn Covert for shorter gigs (as far as I'm concerned, if you don't think Gerber still makes some good hard use folding knives, you haven't used an AF), and for Field School digs way out in the bush I will be going with my Spartan Harsey Difensa (though in the past it was the K. Tragbar hunter my Grandpa gave me).

For the classroom: This is still a few months in the future for me, but teaching was what got me to start looking at traditionals. The SM Barlow will definitely be in rotation there.

solid little knife.

I'm a software developer, and I often end up EDCing my Paramilitary 2 (digicam/DLC) or my Hogue EX-01 (black g-mascus/tanto). I was taking my ZT 0392 into work every day until I had to send it in for maintenance yesterday. Sigh...

Diesel mechanic, I carry a Vic camper, kershaw cryo, and the bear grylls paracord fixed, since I can beat it to h*** and sharpen it without too much hassle

Work in the software field, and carry one of these... Makes it extremely people friendly as well (and besides I've recently developed fascination for single-blade traditionals)

Police Officer

Lone Wolf Harsey T3 Micarta Handle on my Vest and a Lone Wolf D2 Auto in my strong side cargo pocket.

When I work Gangs or SWAT my vest belt has either the ESSE 6 or the Spartan Harsey II. Hopping to make to carry a Randall Fixed Blade in near future.

Nurse Anesthetist as well; Graduated from UAB in '07. I usually carry a 4" or shorter handled knife, i.e. Native or Delica, but most often a Dragonfly. My cart keys have a SB Manbug attached.

Awesome! Not to much longer for me.. December! Glad to know I'm not the only one NA/SRNA that carries a knife
