What's your EDC weight limit?

4 ounces. But I prefer 3 ounces or less. At 2.3 ounces, here's one of my favorites:

Don't have a limit really. If I like it, I'm gonna carry it

Same also. Further, a knife is the least of my EDC weight concerns. About 3 years ago I dropped 40lbs so a couple of lbs of junk doesn't really feel like much.

The cell phone I carry in my left pocket weighs 185 grams, the knife I usually carry in my right pocket weighs 175 grams (6.2 oz.). A $100 bill weighs 1 gram, so if I carry 10 $100 bills in my right pocket along with my knife, I am perfectly balanced and won't tip over.

The 175 gram knife is about the most weight I want for EDC.

I've never paid attention to weight. If it carries well; it gets put in rotation.
Note sure of the weight; but Sebenza 25, PM2, the ZT 0562 seem pretty light to me.

Sometimes I WANT a heavy folder in my pocket. At work I carry a peanut or tiny trapper. When I get home I often throw the 8.4oz Minos II into my pocket.

Sometimes heavy just feels right.

Coming from a guy who commuted solely by bicycle, to and from a manual labor job, who often hiked/trail ran on the way home, light weight was a bit of a preference. Then again, once I found the Spyderco Military (mine was half Titanium, half g10, a bit heavier than standard g10 model) I just modified my carry style a bit to make up for the bit more weight and size. I found carrying in the waist band made it all but disappear.

I wear cargo pants loaded down with crap, plus a utility belt with a roll of duct tape, (among other things). Weight limit? What weight limit?

Weight does not matter to me, and any knife will do after work while I'm in jeans. I carried a Super Commander and a Spyderco Ulize to a party last Saturday night, no problem whatsoever.

Work (dress pants) is a different matter. Bigger knives often lay sideways in a pocket and look huge, at least for me. I carried a Benchmade Emissary today and had to use it as a money clip to keep it sitting upright in my pocket, and it weights next to nothing. It screams "office knife" also, with its small stature.

My favorite EDC in dress pants is my Wilson Combat Eagle, which I EDC with a IWB carry. It is so thin, you cannot even really see it, yet I can carry a full-size knife at all times.

So put me in the camp of handle thickness, but only in dress pants. In jeans, I often carry a 0560 or large Emerson.

Just pretenimagine it lighter.

Same here.

Amen.

If it's too heavy, be sure not to skip "leg day".

Same here, if I can cut well, fit it into my pocket, and I don't fall over I'm taking it with me. End of story, I'm not scared of big knives.

As a rule I really have no limit as at 6'2" - 255#'s weight really means very little to me ~~ now when I weighed 205#'s it did make a small difference but not enough for me to not carry any knife that I wanted to that day.!** It is all in the mind and how you feel at the end of the day that counts the most.^

No limit. I like heavy, meaty folders. Often I will carry several beefy folders.
