What's your EDC weight limit?

Weight doesn't matter it's how the knife is carried that makes a bigger difference. A 4oz knife could feel heavy in the pocket and cumbersome, switch it to a belt sheath or clipped on the inside of your waistband and it carries a lot differently.

I carry what I want, but typically with how I like my traditional slip joints and due to the nature of how I like to carry them I prefer them to be no more than 3 7/8in long 3/8in thick when closed. Yes that is quite specific but I found that out from carrying a few different knives that were closely the same size and I found those dimensions to be the largest I could carry comfortably where it would will remain unnoticed till it's needed.

The heavier the better, for the most part. I like chunky knives. I am a chubby chaser!

There's no number to it for me but shorts I pick up my lighter ones: skyline, manix2 lightweight, zt770cf, sometimes a pm2.
I got a contego, two rifts, and zt560 that almost exclusively ride in pants or backpacks.

It looks like I tend toward "lighter" if I segregate at the 4 oz. limit
Which is absolutely correct by the way, regarding Nutnfancy. They aren't all here but....

i dont know why some people obsess over weight... mostly nutnfancy fans.

this is true and i as a nutnfacy fan hates when he goes on his rants about weight. I for one don't care what the knife weighs ill carry what i like in the pocket i cant tell the difference between some ounces.

Whatever fits in my front right and back left pocket. I like heavier blades, I am a big guy so I don't mind the extra weight.

I know what you mean, I work with a lot of hyperemotional types. Luckily, everyone tends to mind their own business and the law here helps a lot. No need for anyone to put their job at risk, but some folks may not love their employer as much as others.

True that. But I doubt there's anyone who works for a living that doesn't appreciate getting a paycheck. ;)

I work for a large non-profit behavioral healthcare agency. I think it's fair to say that the sensibilities around here when it comes to carrying something that could be considered a weapon are a bit more acute than they might be in your average work environment.

My HEST/F Milspec comes in around 6oz and my ZT0561 is right over 6oz; and I actually find them not very heavy. So I'd say around 9oz.

I used to work for a non-profit behavioral healthcare agency. What do you do?

4 oz or less. I really like to be around the 3 oz mark honestly.

I like large blades because I have large hands. I carried a BM 710 for a while. I get tired of the pocket weight of both my knife and my smart phone.

You mean you don't do it for the pure emotional joy and sense of immense satisfaction that it brings?
What a horrible employee. :D

I'm an Executive Assistant. :)

Give your boss a nice fat knife as a gift!

J/k - I'm sure you are following a corporate directive. I carry a magenta Case tiny trapper to keep myself out of trouble at work. The girls say "Oh! It's Soooooo Cute!"
