I love my Victorinox SwissChamp to death but my favourite for EDC is my Wenger SI, since i got it, its barely left my pocket or hand.

i'm still thinking fieldmaster? but i don't know the farmer's mighty nice. so what's the difference in wenger? is it the same company or diffferent?

it's all about preference when it comes to the wenger vs Vic debate. Victorinox has purchased wenger, but they still operate under their respective names. Victorinox tends to have snappier backsprings and a slightly better fit and finish. However, wenger tend to have more unique designs and they really do innovate a lot more than victorinox. I would advise you to take a look at wenger's evogrip series (some of the 90mm evogrips actually have locks!) or even get a rangergrip 78/79. At the end of the day, you will be happy with either companies products.
