whats your grail knife?

I've got a few that I want, but won't have for a long, long time.

8" Laconico camp knife (drooooool)
Fiddleback Bushcrafter (looks so darn comfy)
Skookum

Something that I expect to be close to perfect is the Dave Farmer knife I've got coming, it oughta be sweet.

If we're talkin' obtainable, a Laconico Nessmuk and a Fiddleback Bushcrafter Jr.. They are definitely on the top of my list.

Wonder who that could be? ;) I was considering giving mine a similar set of pants.

Yeah if I am getting leather done, its not hard to guess who's doing it:o

But what is a suprise is there are 2 knives that David made me and one is 3/16 thick. Thats something you don't see him doing very often.

My grail knife is always the next one I want to get......
Right now its a koyote

The Koster Bushcraft is damn high on the list, though in a perfect world it'd have a shorter but thicker handle for me. Been trolling the F/S for ages but they all slip through my fingers....

Hopefully Dan will get another production run of his Bushcraft blades soon, with thicker handles and some other slight modifications. I'm chomping at the bit for one myself.

I haven't made it yet... :D

4" O-1 blade, scandi grind, 1/8" thick, slight drop point, full hidden tang.
Nickle silver bolster, elk antler and birch burl. Leather sheath with firesteel loop.

That's really cool, is it a big guy or a little guy?

I don't really have a "Holy Grail" knife at this time. My latest Breeden blade (Peacemaker) really has filled my needs for a knife very well. For the moment, my search for perfect blades is at least in suspension. Between the Peacemaker, a neat DP Knife, and a SAK Farmer, those knives cover almost all of my outdoors needs and then some, and I like all those knives a lot.
