WOW... that's the finest looking Sebby that I've ever seen!

A Dozier K1 with jigged bone handles... wait... I've got one! What's next, now that the grail has been found? Armageddon? Hmm... maybe I need a Busse:D

My "Grail" knife will be the one I make for myself and got absolutely perfect. The one that makes me say "That's it! That's the one! Now you can stop making knives!" ;) Then keep making knives! :D -Matt-

It would be a Kephart for me. I wouldn't really care who made it Stomper, Koyote, Gossman, DK knives etc, although I do like this version from Charlie ridge....

Busse Hell Razor. There's just something seriously sexy about that knife.

You're right about that! It's similar in size and handle to the SFNO but a bit more 'pointy'. The grip on the HR, especially magnum size for me, is a really good fit in the hand, very controllable and secure.

It's definitely one of my favourites and, like you say, seriously sexy!

Still would like to get an SFNO for field use though.

Just for you, here's a picture of one of mine. Fits perfectly in a small Spec-Ops:

I'd love to someday get a sebenza. I just can't bring myself to drop the cash for one.

FB- Ed Fowler Pronghorn
Folder- Scott Cook Lochsa

Can't afford either one, but I've decided to give up quantity and go for quality. Now if I could just pry some of my current knives loose to sell...

Can I change mine? Since I've already nailed down the NMFBM, I think my new "Grail" knife is a Reese Bose.

Holy buckets, does that cat make some NICE knives. They are out of my price range now, unfortunately. There's one on the exchange that has had me drooling all day.

I hope Fasteddie doesn't mind me showing this (these are his):

I'd be stoked to own any one of those.

im going to add also i want a 1/4 inch thick carbon steel machete similar to a ontario 12 inch but a 1/4 inch thick

In order:
Busse NessMuk/MiniMuk
Koster Nessie
CRK Skinner with a convex grind

The Busse nessmuk looks pretty sweet, but the mini-muk is marred by that stupid choil. I cant even figure out wtf the point of that is.

I'd totally get a nessmuk so long as they dont go and ruin it by using 0.25-0.3" steel, and I'd be all over the minimuk if it werent for that guard/choil.

Man - never thought I'd see the day of a bussemuk....They do look really damn cool though! Also forgot about the fallkniven Thor - thanks to the earlier post for reminding me about that one.

I used to frequent the Busse forum but not in the last year or two. What is this talk about banned blades?

Thanks

"Ban" is the name of one of the fellows that posts on bladeforums. He does a lot of work on busse knives, but most notably the mirror polished convex sharpening jobs he does for people. When a knife is "banned" thats what they typically mean.

I would love to own an Ivory Handled BRKT Bravo-1, with the leather sheath they made for it. Aint gonna happen anytime soon though.
