More than likely his'll still have the price sticker on it:D

Thanks Russell, I'm gonna start whipping USB cables around and see if I can get everything in the room linked together into one giant computer, hopefully I won't melt the grid:eek:

Eric

PS- Dang Charlie, you beat my post!

You can still pick up the lightning trains express knife, they are Aurum Schrades something i only recently discovered, that makes them quite unique, as both are no longer in production, there is the flying cloud and also 6 Schrade Bowies all Aurum etched differently I have 5 of them.
I wish there were a few more Schrade Aurums but there the only ones I know of, I got the 1 of 25 blade back in the knife he did a nice job on it, I have lots of other Aurum knives like the first Aurum knife ever done and first one ever done at new Buck facility with Sams help to set up facility, with LOAs coming for all but they are not Schrades, I wish there were a few more Aurum Schrades out there.
Regards Tim

My first "new-old" Schrade of 2009, 4 1/2" jack, Peachseed bone, Excellent +++.
Love these old big'uns!!

Real nice Charlie, now that's a big'un! Looks like it was barely used:thumbup::thumbup:

Here's a new one, a nice little 3 1/8" senator, I think it's model F7423T, p.34 in the catalog, although this one's obviously got a custom shield. You don't see many of these custom shielded models in the old Cut. Cos.. Super fit and finish, with half stops on both blades:

Hal, nice Ulster. looks like one i was outbid on recently !
i have some Ulster & Ulster Knife knives, but now i am focused on Ulster Knife Co. i.e. pre '41 when owned by Dwight Devine. these are so well made, quite superior to the post '41 knives.
now i suppose there may be more competition for these, but ya gotta share the good news.

Nice Pen Eric. I like nicely made advertising shields. Quite a "rich" appearance.
The Bone Ulster USA knives are a cut above the plastic ones, Roland, but I like the pre-1941 ones best also; that said, that's a great one Hal!!

I agree. With Schrade and Ulster, the older the better. Some of the oldest Ulsters are the biggest breadwinners when they get auctioned off. I am glad Ulster slipped a few bone handles in there in the later years. I was a little late on the dating of the 55G, it looks more like the 50's.

Historical Note:
According to Goins'; Dwight Divine died in an automobile crash in 1933. His sons ran the company until 1941 when Albert Baer bought it.

Got these two in recently. Every once in a while, they say, a blind pig finds an acorn. I got two.:D

Snagged this brown box serialized LB8 on a freshly listed (couldn't have been listed for more than a couple minutes or someone else would have grabbed it)Buy-It-Now for $49.99.

Also got this brown box 15OT, still wrapped in plastic, for about the same price.

Lastly, a little LB-1 someone went to the trouble of adding filework and stag handles to. Lot of work for such a small knife, but nicely done.

Eric, that 294 is a beauty. Nice deep red bone. Now we need someone like Charlie to come in and lay down an old peachseed 294 with the fancy bolsters and the dog bone shield.

I hate to disappoint my old buddy Hal!
Here's a Schrade Walden, and a Shapleigh equivalent. I didn't wipe the oil film off, sorry . . .

I like the big ones Dave, nice pair, those large saw blades are awesome!

Russell

Dave, what do you know about that shield on the S-W 225H ? yin-yang and Schrade-Walden; didn't ever associate these together.
roland

Roland, I know absolutely nothing about that shield. I also don't know who won that other knife, but I was watching it. Beautiful!
