Nice one Dale. I like EO's.

Take it to the show this weekend and show it to Mike. That's one of his
brands.

The rest of us will post all our new stuff while you and Charlie are away. :D

Fran

Great find Dale! You really don't see many of those. That one appears to be a Walden knife for sure. Fantastic patch on the back:thumbup:

Eric

Maybe we shouldn't show Fran -

All the nice old Schrades we're going to bring back, Dale!!

When we post them Fran. . . . .no peeking!!:p

I think you are right Charlie.

BTW, Charlie I made arrangements with Lane County Equipment Rental for a forklift on Sunday evening to load all my new knives up in my truck.
You can use it too if you like & we will just split the rental fee & save us both a little money.

See you Friday,
(or Thursday if you stop by the house on your way down.)

Dale

You ordered the heavy duty lift Dale??
I was not happy with the casual laborers we used last time - I'll go in on the fork lift with you!!
Looks like I'll have to leave later than I'd hoped, so I'll see you Friday!

Joking aside, I will try and get some good pictures for everyone! Have a nice weekend!

Dale and Charlie,
Good luck this weekend! Make sure you post some good pics when you get back!

Dave

You guys are killing me! I've been wanting to get out there for four years now, and each year something comes up (lack of money this year:mad: ). Hopefully next year, but in the meantime, make sure you report back on how much Schradeage is at the show, at least that way we can be there through you:thumbup::D:D Have fun!!

I do have something of interest, a little piece of history from the company that should interest a few folks, but i'll wait 'till you get back, I've got a little research to do first. Here's a little sneak-peak:

Eric! You've been sneaking into the factory at night, when the watchman is cutting some
zzzzzs!! First that Barlow try sample, then that booklet whateveritiz!
Don't you get caught now!!

That would be nice, but this was actually from a little antique shop in Wurtsboro, right down the road from me. Unfortunately there's no name in it, but being from 1932, I'd imagine it's from Walden. Kind of hard to say though since Wurtsboro is kind of between Middletown and Walden (actually closer to Ellenville). The guy didn't have a clue who it was from, but it was in the shop for about four years!! Maybe an auction leftover?

Eric

Nice find Eric! look forward to see what else you have uncovered.

Enjoy the Oregon show Charlie and Dale, would be good if Fran, Eric and myself made it out there one year to meet you guys.

all the best.

Russell

You've got that right Russell (say, what are you doing up so late? I thought I was the only night owl here), maybe the Blade show in Atlanta this May? Charlie, you gonna be down there this year?

Eric

Well guys,
I do appreciate your well wishes for the show. They seem to have worked for me at least.
This morning when I arrived at the show two hours early, there were only a handful of people there, but who is the first person I see but Charlie, trading knives out of the back of his truck!
I knew then and there that it was going to be tough to get ahead of Charlie. He was primed and loaded for bear.

I walked around to the front of the building where we had to inner. Well, we couldn't enter until 10 o'clock so about eight of us, to begin with, started trading knives under the awning out of the rain. I spotted this knife and started drooling.
The guy sold it to me so he wouldn't drowned, kind of in self-defense. :o
I paid him and was staring at the treasure in my hand when Charlie walked around the corner, not two minutes later.

Charlie said, "All right, what did you beat me to?"
I said, "Charlie you're going to hate me."

Then I showed it to him............................................................Charlie is (of course) such a gentleman that he congratulated me & then he drooled on my knife too! It was pretty wet when we got done admiring it. I hope it doesn't rust.

I have been looking for a 2OT of any type and this is a very nice version with waterfall celluloid and a coping blade. The first I have seen like it.

It sort of made my show & there are still 2 full days left! :D :D:D

Dale

#@%$&**# :grumpy:

Doggonit.....Rusty1 did it again !!

Not being with the privileged few in Eugene this weekend, we consoled ourselves by attending a hole-in-the-wall show of no more than 30 or so tables in Maryland today. After at least 3 trips around the room we went out for a little lunch. After that, Russell suggested we return to the show for one more go-around before heading home.

Next thing I know Russell is standing in front of me with a sneaky grin ( you know the one, Eric. ).....feathers on his chin, and a real nice 2OT !

After a few grudging Ohhs & Ahhs from me, and he said " what do you think I paid for it ?"

Already wounded, and Russell was bringing out the salt shaker.

Poor guy's gonna' hafta do without his Mc Donalds for 2 or 3 days next week.

Beauty of a knife Dale, and what an awesome blade combination. Do you think that Primble is from the Schrade Cut Co era?

And I'm eager to see Russell's 2OT also.

Dale that's an interesting Primble, never seen one like it. Looks to be in fantastic shape. If that's what you found outside the front door, I'd love to see how you guys did inside:eek: And Russell, kudos to you too!! You guys have really had some luck this weekend! Nothing much here, worked all day and lost two auctions on Ebay:( Glad some of us did so well:D:thumbup::thumbup:
